The Thrift Family

Good Morning!  I had a chance to go on the Caring Bridge sight.  Wow! I have to say Brenda (Barbs mom!) thank you for your little note.  I have been doing the "what ifs" and "if only I had" in my mind all day and night since this has happened.  Watching Trey I find myself feeling sad because he is struggling to do the things he used to do without much thought.  Then I remember, he's  here and he's alive! Trey has been struggling a little the last few days. His coordination seems a little wobbly, I'm not sure if his body is just plain tired or he's trying to rewire everything still.  Only time will tell!  Also, I feel like I already know most of you personally, so I hope we can all meet at our celebration of life on August 13, 2009!  Our life has gotten very busy with everyday activities and at the end of the day our family is finally reading bedtime stories and saying our prayers!  Love Cindi and The Boys!

This weekend was very busy… Having all three boys Friday evening and most of the day Saturday… As you know we went to the East Wenatchee fire station for their open house…Blake and Ethan had a good time going to all the different stations… Blake got to call 911 and talk as if it was a emergency… The lady said to never call 911 unless it was a emergency… It wasn’t to be used for play… When we left that station Ethan, whispered to me that Blake had phoned once when it wasn’t a emergency!!! “ There’s no secrets in the Thrift family!! ha ha
Blake and Ethan learned a lot about fire’s and what to do…

Trey, has been very tired this week, but having a cold doesn’t help. He’s still having trouble with his fingers picking up things, he tries to use his fork and spoon, but sometimes its easier to use his hands!!

Cin,

You are doing great, you need to lighten up on yourself and give yourself and your family some time. It has only been a month since you came home.

Write a list of all the things that have been done since the moment you got home.

Then write a list of things you want to get done.I mean EVERYTHING, like talking to Eric, reading to boys, dishes. Then as they are accomplished cross them off. It is a great feeling to see everything getting crossed off.

You are doing GREAT!!! Love, Tina

I am sure our Trey Trey will be back to good as new very soon. We will over come all of these obstacles and growing pains because we are just so thankful we still have our miracle man.

I am looking forward to having everyone over here for Thanksgiving.. Black Friday should be murder now that Southcenter mall has three stories. I am sure all of us crazy Thrift women will manage though.

Cindi,
I'm so glad you are able to get back into a routine! I was just thinking about you this morning, thinking how great it is that you can be home again and be able to do the boring, everyday things that the rest of us take for granted.
