Spring is here!!! We have kept ourselves busy with broken arms, school, swimming, therapy! It's great to be a family again. Everyday brings great thanks to having my boys all together.
Blake has been really into his Nintendo ds (that Grandma Terri bought for his b-day) he is obsessed with coming in first place on all the games! He made it through the winter without any hospital visits what a great feeling! He is easting like a horse and is not gaining weight, so that has been our focus for the last couple of months.
Ethan still has his cast on. He goes in on Thursday to find out if he can have a half arm cast put on. He's hoping for no cast and to be able to start back swim lessons. He misses it very much and everyday reminds us how much he wants his cast off. Some days he tells us he would rather have his leg broken, I'm not really sure he understands that that would be worse!!!
Trey is now riding his bike without any hesitation at all!!!! He is quick on his feet and runs from me quite often! We went down to one day a week of therapy, we felt he was progressing so well that he didn't need so much therapy anymore, Yeah!!!! The changes in him in the last month or so has been a real eye opener for me, my baby is becoming a little boy!
Enjoy the sunshine, and hugs and prayers Cindi & the Boys!!!!!

Wow! What a day. We had our first swimming lessons with Kathy Dagget, Thank you to everyone who suggested her, she is amazing. The boys did great. Of course Blake was very nervous about getting in the water without his life jacket. After seeing Ethan and Trey just get right in he did not hesitate. Although mommy had tons of reservations and anxiety the night before, things went smoother than I ever imagined. Trey was very upset with us because he wanted to swim by himself. He kept trying to push us away and say "I swim, I swim" So no fear or any bad memories! Yea!!! It will take me just a tad longer than the boys, but we took a big step today and past. Happy New Year! As you can see, we had a great Christmas. The boys were so much fun to watch open their presents this year. We are so blessed.
Trey has started to hold his pencil and grab things the way he is supposed to. Grandma & Grandpa Zona are getting ready to leave to Arizona, so Trey will start preschool tomorrow. Oh boy! It's going to be a crazy morning. He will be fine, just a little jealous of mommy paying more attention to someone other than him.
Trey has been sleeping a little better, just not in his own bed yet. He is so funny. I woke up with him sleeping sideways on my stomach this morning. Nothing like having a cozy blanket on you, huh! Hugs and Prayers Cindi and The Boys!
P.S. Would anyone know of someone that would be able to do one on one swim lessons for our boys? We would like to do this as soon as possible. Thanks!

Hello! Time has gotten away from me! Things here are going good. Trey is talking so much. He will be coming to preschool soon. Grandma and Papa Zona will be leaving to Arizona in a few weeks. Both the boys and & will miss them dearly. They have helped us out so much. (Thank You!)
We had a little visitor last night at our door, this little visitor is quick. When we got to the door there were three Christmas presents & a plate of cookies on our door step! The boys were so excited because Santa brought them a gift early! Thank you to the really quick Santa, it means so much to us to have people care for family!
This year I didn't get our Christmas card out with a picture of the boys. I plan to try and do a New Years one. We plan to say thanks for the miracles but gladly start a new and fresh year!
Thank You, Cindi and The Boys

Good Morning. These past couple of weeks have flown by! Our appointment at Children's was extremely encouraging. Trey has gone beyond what they had originally expected him to. The doctor was very happy with Trey and how far he has come. We will see even more improvement as the days pass. I have never been so thankful to be able to come back to a follow up appointment in my life. Thanksgiving was very special to our family this year, we have so much to be thankful for! I would like to say thank you to Maria Sivery who sent us a beautiful package for the holidays! Its nice to know that people are still thinking and praying for us. Hugs & prayers Cind and the Boys!

Hello everyone. As you can see we had a rough weekend. Things are going fine. I'm just trying to get the boys to feeling better. At the same time trying to get myself back on track. Just every winter stuff the Thrift household endures. I wish sometimes this season would go away. I hope you all are enjoying the pictures, we also posted new ones on the caringbridge web sight! Love Cindi and The Boys
